The patients received either 25, 50, or 100 mcg of each medication at the same dose and the levothyroxine sodium tablets, as directed by the prescribing physician. The treatment protocol for each patient was followed for a minimum of 3 months (median duration: 2 months). The patients were followed for a minimum of 1 year (mean duration: 1 year; median follow-up: 1 year).
